Guest guest
Down Syndrome is caused by a genetic condition. It has neurological issues, but it is not based solely on that. Does that make sense? Guest guest
Dawn, The woman has over simplified cause and effect. The cause of DS is genetic. The cause of autism is unknown, however there is some recent research that points to mutations in the genetic code. The effect is neurological in both diseases. The symptoms seen are due to neurological dysfunction.
