Any suggestions on new meds or

where else I could go? Thanks.

With my RA, when I have pain in spite of the meds I'm already taking, I also

take some Darvocet. You might ask your rheumy about something like that.

It's not a long term cure but it sure helps in the short term.

tammy,

i can tell you that sometimes you have to get out the " top guns " and

go to a teaching medical center. pharting around with local docs

sometimes just doesn't cut it. i am living proof. won't go into my

background here (i have lots of posts in rebecca's links tho), but

take my word for it. not sure what your underlying causes are, if

any, but gather up all your medical records, especially tests and

call and make an appointment. waiting for 2 or 3 months is not

uncommon. not sure where you are located, but there are many fine

teaching medical centers all over and they take all major health

insurances.

let me know what you decide,

jeff
