So did you decide on the calcitrol yourself or did you talk to Dr. K first?

What did he say about your choices of calcium? Did he reccomend a specific

kind, or just add the med?

Mel, I got the prescription in the mail after faxing my labs to

Dr.K. lol I wish I could think of myself as a patient and treat

myself, but I am notoriously bad at that! I never do anything for

myself.

I wondered...You know you do have access to things that a lot of us don't

.....lol. It used to be easier when I worked at the hosp. If you were sick, just

get a doc friend to write a script for a little entex or something...know

what I mean? Oh, I found sublingual b12 at wal greens for only 5.99 a

bottle...It's been costing me 10 something at GNC. I think it has a big

influence as to

why my labs have stayed up...Well, that and the hyst!

I was reading where they say that if your calcium is normal, you tend to

lose weight easier. The whole milk cartel has a campaign pushing milk for

losing weight....I guess the low carb is cutting into their money...I know the

OJ people are fussing.
