While out and about doing errands yesterday I got a phone call on my cell phone from a local hospital that my mom was brought in by ambulance, my first thought was that she had a heart attack since she has had heart problems in the past. However that wasent the case. This is so hard for me....The nurse told me that my mom tried to kill herself by taking a bottle of Klonipan, those that dont know that is a anti-depressent, she has had battles with depression in the past, yet never to this extent.. However this is where it gets strange, she supposidly took the pills then called an ambulance yet when they pumped her stomach and did the blood and urine drug test nothing shows. Not a pill fragment came out. However her behavior is that like she took the whole bottle, she cant wake up, she has no idea who anybody is, the only info I can get out of her is that she got all her things " in order " so that my sister and I dont have to, when I left late last night the doctors were re-running the drug screening and she also had a CAT scan done as well, we will know today what those come back as. We shall see what today brings, hopefully she will be more alert and be able to tell us what is going on. I normally dont blab my family business online yet I cant find myself being able to think about anything else.
