Guest guest Posted October 9, 2004 Report Share Posted October 9, 2004 Hi Edith, I was pondering the thoughts of actually having a " life coach " ...I know you did not post what you did for " SPAM " however my aunt has been in therapy for a long time and finally wrapped up with Roland Ph.D (whom she thinks I really should come out west to see for 7 days to get rid of all this yucko stuff). Sometimes I catch that show on FOX about a house full of women from all different walks of life, and it makes me feel that I need something like that. I need someone, I know that...I live in a small town, I suffer from a few different chronic pain problems, have tried everything to get rid of it until I realized that I have these problems and I can deal with them. Accepting is a big part of having a disease, and also having been in a near fatal MVA......It could have been worse (have seen it), I am here and I have the best care possible re:pain... So what do you personally think of a life coach? Does one need to be with them, or can one talk via phone and email? Any input from anyone is fine with me, but I am interested in what you think. Thanks so much, and also do you know Roland Ph.D....Amazing things he has done for my marvelous aunt. Finally she has been set free! Perhaps your aunt is right?? And, no, I've not heard of Roland - but there's lots of stuff/ppl/things I don't know about. I believe the downside to it is that you don't have to have any kind of credentials to advertise yourself as a life coach. So you and I, and anyone else, could set up an office as a life coach.
