My son si due to start Kinder this week [next week] and he's short on his immuno shots. I'm not sure which ones are associated with Autism; Mercury?

are they all? I;d hate to add insult to injury to get him more shots

HI Joyce:

I have the very same problem with Kindergarten. I have to find a way around getting anymore shots. I have heard too many parents say the kids regressed with the boosters to use anymore. Isn't it enough that my son has already been adversly affected by what I believe is due to vaccines. I can't prove it . but I don't need to. I know in my heart. I heard California was easy to work around . Don't they have some kind of declaration stating that you don't wish to vaccinate. I could be wrong, but I thought California was one of the most lenient states. I live in N.Y. and what I read was Religious exemption must be proved. they will even test you to see if you really belong to a specific religion. Please anyone correct me if I am wrong. I would love to be wrong and just say I can't vaccinate due to religious reasons period. Then that would be the end of it. The other thing is checking the titers by your doctor to see if the child is already immune and doesn't need the shots. One other thing is to have the doctor state they believe the child would be adversly affected by the vaccines and getting exempted by a doctor. Actually if I could prove my son was allergic to eggs which is in the MMR maybe I could get exempted that way. Sorry so long. You see I am trying to get out of this too. Just a few ideas here.

Hi there ; thanks for writing; there is "somewwhere" on the internet that has a "religion" that gets out of vacc's and it may be beneficial to "join" before getting into public school; thus you will have "membership" on their roll book.

In calif, compuls ed is 6, so fortunately my son turns six in Sept, which coincides perfectly with 1st grade; in the meantime, i'm working to get an aspergers/HFA or PDD dx "labeled" on him to get services [qualify] and try to eliminate further vacc's

have you beent o www.NeuroImmuneDr.com or is it dot-org? anyway, buy a ream of paper and print out the different sites within the sties. really fits into what my child has been through

please just excuse the typos.........

The way I understand is that you have a legal right to

refuse vaccinations...there are several waivers that

you can sign, one of them religious...someone posted a

few days ago, that you can " start your own religion " ,

and have " no vaccines " as one of your laws.

There are also thimerosal-free vaccines available that

have become available recently. But it may not be

" just " mercury, I guess.

Check out GFCFkids@... and search "DAN 2000 vaccine guidelines".

It is all listed there for you. It is from Dr. Cave's presentation.

Kelley,

I am very behind in my e-mails so I just saw your post.

I have a religious exemption letter that is pretty airtight. Let me know if

you would like a copy.

Also, there is a meeting this week in NJ about this very subject. Let me

know if you would like that information also.

The vaccine schedule (and this is what we've done for my now 27 month old boy,

who is developing beautifully) recommended by Dr, Goldberg is as follows. Our

local pediatrician was willing to do this for us, maybe just to humor me. :)

No HepB (we got around this easily because his older brother reacted to it- had

to be rehospitalized at less than 3 days old- and when the hospital staff heard

that his brother reacted, they didn't push, though each shift asked about it.)

No Chicken Pox (not sure what age they start those, but I *think* Dr. G will say

to give it as a preteen if they never get it- I need to check on this)

We did the DpT and Polio on the even months- 2,4, and 6 months on regular well

baby check-ups

We came in on the odd months for HiB and Prevnar- 3,5, and 7 (our local

pediatrician's office has set hours for walk-in vaccines and we were not charged

a co-pay)

And he got his MMR at 1 year old

Of course, if the baby/child is sick, stay clear of the vaccines for 2 weeks.

Also, if concerned about immune issues, have the baby follow the diet for

2-3 years (and mom if breastfeeding).

The approved formulas are the hard to spell/expensive ones labeled for colic...

Similac and Enfamil both make one. Similac's is Augmentin (spelling off) and

Enfamil's is Nutrmitigen (spelling not correct, I'm sure).

vaccine schedule

Does someone know of Dr. G's approved vaccine schedule? My friend just

adopted a newborn and is very nervous about overdoing the vaccines.

Thanks!
