, you said that two of the ingredients in the SARNA lotion are

camphor and menthol. I have been using a brilliant gel recently, not for

itching but for my painful joints (they are what started me off on the whole

EN/Sarcoid journey last year) It is Glucosamine and Emu Oil gel and it too

contains camphor and menthol.

I had really bad pains in my wrists a few weeks back and my husband

suggested that I try it as it had arrived as a free sample with some

glucosamine tablets that he'd ordered. After a few days the pains certianly

started to ease and it does clear the nasal passages as a bonus!!

It felt really cooling as it went on - you don't need much as it goes a long

way; and I should imagine that it would take away itching if only due to the

coolness of it.

I got it through a company here in the UK called ZipVit (www.zipvit.com) I

don't know if they ship outside of the UK though but I'm sure there must be

other companies selling the same thing.

Hope this helps.

Have a very Happy New Year, as pain/lump-free as possible!

ps I also have 2 small children (4yrs and 2 yrs) and find it impossible to

get much rest at any time, let alone when I feel really under the weather!

We also go down the route of watching a dvd/video while mummy has half a kip

on the sofa but it's not a real rest is it !!
