Guest guest Posted June 14, 2004 Report Share Posted June 14, 2004 Kristy, Bisquick is a brand name used to describe a particular product (like kleenex) that is a baking mix for biscuits and pancakes (and other things). It already has what is needed to make the batter rise, so usually you just add water or milk. If you are making something like cinnamon rolls then you are adding sugar and spice too. I do not always use the bisquick brand, as stores have their own brands which are usually cheaper and they are just as good in my opinion. PW > Anyone know the non-american word for bisquick?
