Guest guest
Hi, we got back our 10 year old son's lab results from his first treatment of lead chelation using 50mgs of DMSA for 3 days on a 4 hour cycle. Our doctor had the urine analysis done at Doctor's Data and the lead was 10 (very low) with a minor amount of nickel. Our son was removed from the lead source (an old house) in November and the initial chelation took place in late February. We live in Canada where chelation therapy for children is controversial. Our Doctor asked us to put this question on the list serve: " is this level of lead usual or since has not been in contact with the lead, is the lead deeply deposited in bone? " . Thank you for any information you can pass along. Barry Cosgrave , British Columbia Canada -- barry cosgrave
