I see you live in Tustin. I live in Westminster, CA in Orange County.

I have had EN (with spontaneous remissions) for the past 37 yrs.,and

many of us in the group are idiopathic--where we haven't ever

discovered a cause for the EN.

I wonder if potassium Iodide (SSKI) or simple bedrest would also

induce remission for you. I've never used meds myself, but we are all

a bit different in our EN symptoms and our reaction to meds. It is my

feeling that sufficient rest [including bedrest] can speed remission

in most idiopathic cases, but I understand that many of us just can't

spare the time for it.

5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have

EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group.

I have EN on my legs, the usual painful hard bumps.

This is my second " onset " , and larger than my first.

Both bouts have been accompanied with fluish symptoms.

6. List any other health conditions.

My doctor believes I have an as yet undiagnosed autoimmune condition.

7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their

effectiveness:

I've taken prednizone for both outbreaks, which quickly eases the pain

and fades the angry bruised look very well.

8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG? It started this summer.

9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG? Just a few months.

10. Do you agree to treat all EN members with respect? Of course
