I'm hoping your dr. tested you for the usual causes of EN. It is

unusual to get EN for the first time at yor age, so I am guessing you

will eventually discover what is causing it. We have a long list of

possabilities on our Files of Triggers and Causes.

I'm 58 now, and have had EN for 37 yrs., I have not yet discovered my

trigger, but I have learned how to treat my EN, and I am in a nice

remission now. Welcome to our Group!

5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have EN

or

PG, please explain why you wish to join this group. I have red,

painful

nodules on my legs, and swelling in my ankles. This is the 2nd series

of

lumps I have had. It has been diagnosed as erythema nodosum.

6. List any other health conditions. Sore, inflamed heels. Foot

problem.

7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their

effectiveness: iodine and ibuprofen. The anti-inflammatories help to

moderate the EN. I'm not sure about the iodine.

8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG? July 2005

9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG? Almost 7 months.

10. Do you agree to treat all EN members with respect? yes
