Guest guest
Hi Guys, I haven't been at the computer much. So, haven't kept up on the goings on much. Thought I would give you a little update though... Had back x-rays today. Took this kid almost 1.5 hours to take FIVE views! He was on his externship... ugh. Needless to say, after laying on that hard table and playing contortionist, I am NOT in a good mood and my pain medication is doing NOTHING at this time. I did indeed have a kidney infection. In fact, my right kidney *still* hurts. The doctor said I probably got it passing the kidney stone I passed a few weeks ago. We are in the process of running a UA w/ culture. I have no idea what all that will do for me. All I know is between the pain in my back and sciatic nerve pain shooting down my legs plus the kidney pain that I have now been fighting for a month, I'm ready to crawl into bed and never get out again! On a GOOD NOTE, my tummy muscles finally seem to be cooperating and stretching out a bit so they don't hurt as badly. I haven't had a spasm in a while and really like the way my clothes fit, most of the time. So, there's your little update... waiting on docs and insurance companies now. Because I'm Medi-Cal they need a TAR to get approval for Physical Therapy and MRI. I'm having an ultrasound on my kidneys next month... I'm sure if I would have had *real* insurance I would have gotten in MUCH sooner, what'd ya think? Have a great one! Melisa
