It's nice to welcome another member from Wales, UK! I'm idiopathic

too. I've had EN or 37 years now, currently in a remission. I am

especially interested in your long 5 yr. remission. Do you know why

you went into remission? Did anything change that may have brought you

out of it?

5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have EN

or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group.

I have suffered from recurrent idiopathic erythema nodosum since I was

18. I get very painful lesions on my lower legs which last up to 2

months.

The outbreaks were annually for the first 5 years and for some reason,

always in the winter months. I hadn't had a serious outbreak for 5

years until 2005/2006.

6. List any other health conditions.

None

7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their

effectiveness:

Codeine phosphate for pain relief and ibuprofen for anti immflamatroy.

Effectiveness is next to nothing so usually I don't bother taking the

medication!

1995

9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG?

On and off for 10 years

posting on a site about other diseases (from the moderator). The
