Guest guest
> Hmmm....whom is telling Dr. Z that I am being a bad girl??? LOL!! Oh > well....I know what I am doing and that is what counts I suppose. *****Hey Anne I ratted you out at the support meeting that time I heard you say your weren't taking your suppliments and had Dr. Z talk to you...But I told you I tattled. This time it wasn't me...lol I hope that the " other rat " did so with love and concern in their heart...even if it was misguided. Doncha feel loved! I am proud that you have been religious about your suppliments recently...especially since they make you ill. I really encourage you to discuss this with the group or the office and see if a different form of calcium/vitamins or a different pattern of taking them can help. Because taking them (as you know) is NOT an option and it's NOT for a short time. So hopefully something can be figured out so it doesn't make you ill..that's hell to think your going to get sick daily for the rest of your life. I'm so glad that everything looks and feels better since your breast revision. Did he go Into the breast the same way as last time? At the top of the ds scar and tunnel up? Happy healing Jo
Guest guest
Hi Anne! So glad to hear the surgery went better this time around! Lots of good thoughts headed your way that it all goes smoothly. I promise it wasn't me who tattled on you! LOL! I think sometimes we get over zealous on this group when it comes to worrying about our DS brothers and sisters. I'm sure no harm was meant. Something similar happened to me once (though I think it was on the main DS group) and I was annoyed at first but then realized it was just because someone cared so much. My prayers and thoughts are with your Sis also. And congratulations on having such a fantastic loss and maintaining it for so long! You deserve to feel proud. Hugs! Guest guest
glad things are going better this time around take care amber update on Anne My surgery went well on Monday. It took a very long 6 hours...but was successful. The breasts are much softer than the first time. It is an amazing difference. There was apparently a LOT of scar tissue and fibrous tissue in there that they did not expect...but all is cleaned out and better. I am in much less pain after this surgery than I have been in since March. I am taking vicodin...but only about once every 6 hours. It feels more like a soreness than a stabbing pain. Soooooo much better now. I have been manouvering the implants and they are MUCH more moveable than the first surgery. A big big BIG improvement! Let's hope the meds I am on and the constent moving will make this surgery a total success. Meanwhile, I got a certified letter from Dr. Z saying that it had come to his attention that I was drinking excessive alcohol and not taking suppliments? What is up with that?? I only drink an alcoholic beverage on OCCASION and not too often an occasion. As for the suppliments, I have been taking them religiously (except for Monday and Tuesday this week due to the surgery) and have been SICK because of them. Hmmm....whom is telling Dr. Z that I am being a bad girl??? LOL!! Oh well....I know what I am doing and that is what counts I suppose. I heard from my sis and she is doing alright. Many financial problems cause her to work her tail off no matter what....sigh. Say a little prayer for her. Anne in Santee Maintaining at 140 pounds for the last 6 months! Guest guest
So good to hear you are doing better this time around. WIshing you gorgeous tata's! As for ratting you out (not that it was me- LOL) - I am sure it was done in love. Take it as a sign of caring. I know that if any of ya'll ever thought I might be in trouble and wasn't being proactive with my healthcare I would WANT you to " rat me out " so to speak. I would take it as a sign of your deep concern for me. hugs, cindy lee > My surgery went well on Monday. It took a very long 6 hours...but was > successful.
