Guest guest
Hello to the family, This is the 5th morning I've had a headache when I woke up. Actually I've been awakened earlier with the headaches and I tried an ice pac on my neck and that does help but it always comes back even more intense. I'm thinking maybe I should go see my chiropractor to have my neck adjusted. I'm just so tired of this. From my shoulders up I just feel locked up. My migraine meds don't really help it. I'm at a loss. I thought about calling in for a substitute for my class, but I really need to be careful with my sick days as my daughter is ready to have her baby any minute, and she wants me there with her to be her coach. I hate these headaches!!!!!! Like I need this on top of all the other pain. Sorry to rant on..... Aheadhurtin' Kathleen in Calif.

Because this headache is on you as soon as you wake up you might want to investigate whether it's your jaw alignment and or teeth clenching. My girlfriend clenches her jaw at times and finds if she takes a 5 mg tablet of Valium ( muscle relaxer) she doesn't clench her jaw and has no headache. The other thing is that wearing a mouth plate at night aligns the jaw properly. This also stop headaches. So it might not even be your neck . I hope you find some relief no matter what the cause is. I myself don't get headaches so i'm lucky in that respect. Sharon.
