Dear Pat,

On behalf of all our members, welcome to our Erythema Nodosum Group!

Thanks for sending in your Questionnaire. I have added the information

to our " Member Medical History " Files on the Group site and posted it

below.

You now have Full EN Group privileges.

You are receiving ALL EN Group emails, and you can also go to the EN

Group site whenever you like:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/erythema_nodosum_Group/

and logging on with your Yahoo ID: cookerbaker58 and secret password.

You do not have to have the group emails delivered to be a member here.

Sounds like you are chronic idiopathic like me. I've had EN since I

was 21 and I am 58 now. What treatments do you use when you are flared

up? I use bedrest, leg elevation and a compression stocking. Lately I

am experimenting with a topical, and getting pretty good results.

Although there does seem to be a relationship between EN and stress,

we know that most people who have stresful lives don't get EN, so I

think the stress just makes the undiscovered trigger act up....like a

possible unidentified bacteria that lives in our system. We all know

what you are going through here. Welcome to the Group!

Love,

*******

I have large red patches, mostly on my shins.

I had a biopsy done and the Doctor said that I had EN.

I have been tested for everything, because I was told this was a

symptom of something else.

I have had this since I was 24.

My life has been stressful, though my Doctor(s) never mentioned that

stress can trigger this.

I have had this so bad I couldn't walk.

I would like to relate to others with this, because I don't know

anyone who has had to suffer this.

I would like any info or support, If I can offer any support I will

be more than happy to do so.
