Guest guest
maryellen, not sure. don't remember the generic name for voltaren. you might want to do a search, i am sure you will find the answer. i would do it for you, but too headachey from my tooth getting pulled and too drugged with vicodin right now (in vicodin land at the moment) :-\~, if you know what i mean... can't tell you what is " normal " because we don't know what is wrong and everyone reacts differently anyway. why not call your doc and see if he doesn't need to make a dosage adjustment???? cause for pyoderma gangrenosum. there is no known cause. we know it can be associated with certain autoinflammatory diseases, but it can be ideopathic as well. inflamed heat in the body, i doubt that is pg, but sounds like it could be some form of autoinflammation. sorry i can't be much more help there for you. if the pg dx was nailed down strong enough and it is known that you don't have an infection, immunomodulators are your best bet. but again, there are conditions that have to be known otherwise you could be worse off. pg reaches a point where topicals and superficial treatments just don't work. don't care what anyone says. systemic treatment is sometimes the only alternative, and what i mean by that is immunomodulators. i wish for you to have less pain and looking forward to you feeling better. now, go make that call!!! jeff > > Hello: > > Is voltaren the same as artho tech? Guest guest
Hi ellen, Sorry you are still in so much pain. Arthrotec® is the same as Voltaren. Just a different mfg.: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/medmaster/a689002.html It says to report side effects to your doctor. I have a friend, Stan who takes Voltaren for nerve pain in his feet. He says it does help, but only to a point. He is still in pain and has his better days and his worse days. I hope you soon have beter days. Love,
