Does anyone have any recent experience with flying with a TENS unit?

I'm going to be traveling later this month for the first time since

my back surgery, and since sitting on the plane is going to cause a

lot of pain, I wondered if there was any chance of getting through

security wearing one? Has anyone had any difficulty carrying it on

in your luggage?

Thanks!

Hi Cheryl,

Not worn my TENS machine on the aircraft, but had no problem in getting it

through security. I always take it in my hand luggage although I do take the

battery out and keep it separate. I also tell them before they check the bag

that I have a TENS machine in my hand luggage.

Can you get a doctors letter saying you need it? - that might help if you have

problems.
