Guest guest
i do understand about holidays. My mom was always ok when all the guests were there becasue she nevers shows others her bad side. But she used to scream at my father for weeks before about how much she hates his family. I can't remember a single trip to my grandmas for christmas or thanksgiving that didn't involve a screaming match between my parents. Me and my 2 brothers would wait in the car while my mom unleashed on my dad. Once she got it out she was fine for the rest of the day. At some point she had to be in control of the holidays. she took over fully. it had to be at her house and her way.She was ok while everyone was there as long as she was in charge but as soon as they left she cut everyone in my dads family down. Family means so much to my dad so she knew how much she was hurting him. This christmas will be tough for my whole family as it will be the 4th christmas without her. My dad is stuck at home with her alone and the rest of us get together, aunts, uncles and everyone. Each year we hope this will be the year she will want to get help. Each year we lose a little bit of hope.

What a neat nephew you have. Your post made me laugh.(Something we could all use more of). I love they way you have analyzed it all and put the hate back where it belongs. You are sounding healthy, girl! I'm with you all the way. And to Dan: Apply what says, put it all back where it belongs. You are a good man, and deserve to have happiness and a life free of nada's projections. You have friends here, and a son to love and enjoy. Hope the rest of your visit is satisfying and happy.
