Guest guest
I am going to talk to my doc later today about my progesterone dosage. I'm just curious about something. I've heard it mentioned that sometimes people convert progesterone to cortisol. What options are there for me to discuss with my doc if my symptoms seems to suggest this possibility? (difficulty getting to sleep, weight gain around middle, agitation) Or why does that happen? I've seen the pathway chart...is it just that my body may need more cortisol so it grabs the progesterone and converts it? Thanks Jan if you let this question go through. I am so puzzled about treating the sex hormones. I've had to wait almost 2 weeks to get in since calling my doc with a question. My appt is finally today.
