Dear ,

On behalf of all our members, welcome to our Erythema Nodosum Group!

Thanks for sending in your Questionnaire. I have added the information

to our " Member Medical History " Files on the Group site and posted it

below.

You now have Full EN Group privileges.

You are receiving ALL EN Group emails, and you can also go to the EN

Group site whenever you like:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/erythema_nodosum_Group/

and logging on with your Yahoo ID and secret password.

You do not have to have the group emails delivered to be a member here.

I'm so happy to have another member from the UK join us! Our Group is

currently being researched by Milton of Huntingtons

Radio for inclusion on a Chat segment on ish Radio. I am hoping

that you and other European (as well as all EN members who are awake

when the broadcast airs) will call in to give listeners first hand

experience of what it is like to have EN. The date and time will be

posted as soon as lets me know.

I'm 58 now but I have had EN since I was 21. No cause has ever been

discovered for it, however. I have never taken meds. It took my drs.

5 years to diagnose me. I'm glad you were diagnosed so soon, and

hopefully we will help you to find a way to achieve remission. Welcome

to our Group!

Love,

For about a year now lumps have appeared on my lets around shinbone.

Have had one removed for examination and surgeon suggested that it was

erythema nodosum. Have looked on web sites for more information and

information found fits to what I have. As to the cause I am not

certain but this last year has been very stressful. I have not taken

many antibiotics but have found out that I am allergic to certain

penicillin tablets but not all of them. In the last week 3 more have

appeared one in exactly the same place where one was removed. Today

received a phone call a death in the family which has hit close to my

heart if it is stress as some information I have found suggest then

maybe some more will appear shortly. Sometimes when I awake my legs

ache where the new lumps have appeared sometime the area around are

swollen the ones that have been there longer look bruised.
