Guest guest Posted February 25, 2010 Report Share Posted February 25, 2010 I called Dr. Caldwell's office myself, and she is not accepting family practice patients, but the lady on the phone did say she is accepting thyroid patients. Its not covered by insurance, the first two visits are $500 together and then she wants to run some tests that are also not insurance covered, but the blood work would prob. be depending on your type of insurance. He talked down to her the whole appointment, and told her it was prob. anemia (even though she regualarly takes iron) and ran blood work for anemia. Told her its not thyroid b/c her labs were " barely out of range " . Would not read any info she took him. Ugh. Now she's more depressed and frustrated. The poor thing is in her early twenties and can barely do anything but go to work and go home and go to bed. I know its her thyroid, and desperately want to help her find a good dr. in her are conroe/n. houston. > > 3.
