Guest guest
glad to have you back online sounds as though you are doing better hope things continue to get better for you take care amber It's me, !! pedaling wheelchair Lilyen...I'm back sort of... I have so missed this list.and two other lists I was part of..... it was just to painful to read and not be able to partake..So I hadn't been reading the lists .....We came here for me to rest and we started going to the hot mineral springs as we were told that it does wonderful things when you go regularly....since we were here I though why not ??? Seems like soaking four times a week in the Truth or Consequences mineral hot springs has helped me . It doesn't hurt as much to type as it did before. I also have more feeling in my hands, so I can type a little better..I want to thank everyone who sent me well wishes and prayers...It is still on the board of possibilities to have surgery...however... I will put off doing it as long as I can stand it. I am a great believer in alternative therapies ....am still looking for another way out... My stats now are .....starting Jan.2,2003 ....down from my all time high of 307 to 189...it would be nice to drop 20 pounds more before the window closes....no more asthma , no high blood pressure, no diabetes, no acid reflux, no edema, IBS is also not a problem any more, my allergies are all but gone.......TRULY AMAZING .........I will always be in a wheel chair unless a miricle occures ....and my friends I don't rule that out...however since it is a pedaling wheel chair, I get my excersise that way daily..and the arthritis is about the same and the pain ...... well.... what can you say about pain, but that it is a pain ...Now tho, I can wipe my butt in the public toilet without becomeing a contortionist , my ears lobes don't stick out from the side of my face and my arms hang down by my side and I can cross my legs in comfort and I can get myself up off the floor...... My shoe size droped a full size...I fit into a size 16 pants ( stretchy waist ...till my hernnis are repaired, hopefull next spring) and 18 on th top , same reason ...as the hernnia is a BIGGIE ...it's really two....a big football and a base ball size one...but my scar is almost invisible except when I soak in a hot tub and then it goes pink..(I hate a girdle, won't wear one, so I just get slowley bigger.)..... but I tell you guys that ostrich oil really works...I get mine out of Canada for $16.50 a bottle in American money including shipping . I used to get the same stuff in Az. for $30.00 pus tax and shipping, till I found out that got theirs from the same place in Canada!!!!..I order four at a time and I store the extra in the fridge ..I use it all over me and my scars twice a day and rub it in well ....and Harry's arms that have bad breakouts from the sun and makes him itch really bad..If I put it on his arms two or three times a day and rub it in really well he doesn't itch....Can't explain it except that it works. We will be leaving New Mexico this week end to travel to Florida then on to Washington state some time in July and then back here some time in late Augest. So we shall see how long the magic of the hot springs will last.....Oh a note.... we bought a house here in a little Village that is called 'burg it is a mile and a half from where we stay now . It has a 125 'on the Rio Grand river, a view of the turtle back mountains, a fishing dock, a white stone fence surrounding the 3/4 of a acre .its has it's own well for irrigation, has 65 roses bushes,a dozen big trees, several fruit trees, all kinds of flowers ,it is level land, and a water genie that will water the whole place when we are not there... its it everything I had wanted in a piece of land...It looks like it belongs in another part of the world, not the desert...I found one small cactus....it will have to GO....I still am having problems with a finger that a prickly pears spine got into three years ago.....The house tho needs MAJOR REMOLDING..it will be well over a year till we can move in...A hysterical note on the Village...when it was formed 60 some years ago it was decided that there would be not a establishment that served alcohol within the village boundaries...... and ...NO Churches !!!!!....When ever I need a giggle I think of how that meeting must have gone on...I am trying to get the minutes of that meeting.........I think the reading of them will be worth the find....if only they had the photos of the folks involved......Hugs to all...Lilyen
