Insurance Co's & Clinical Trials

I was/am considering participating in a clinical trial (VX950) but now

I have concerns that since this is not an FDA approved treatment plan

and in the " trial " stages that if I participate that my insurance

company could drop my insurance coverage. Has anyone had experience

with this? Has anyone done a clinical trial with the insurance

companies knowelge? and what is the result? do they still cover you?

I can understand why they wouldnt want to pick up health problems from

a trial. any thoughts?
