How is he with ice? Do you think he might suck on an

ice cube?

Maybe you could get small Dixie

cups or old fashion freezable ice cube trays. We used to take 1 part juice and

3 parts water (just to keep the sugar low to keep all the intestinal critters

as low as possible) and let it start to set. Then we’d put popsicle

sticks in them and make pops. We used the mini bathroom type of Dixie cups, so it wasn’t too big, too sloppy or too

wasteful. For some reason, he liked how it felt in his mouth. It was great

sensory stuff too because he had to apply pressure and crunch to bite it. We

had to watch him though, to make sure he didn’t choke on any little

chunks.

In our old place, when he was younger, we put a filter

on the water line to the automatic ice maker. Then we’d crush up some ice

and pour a bit of Libby’s juice over it like it was a shaved ice treat!

Gave him a spoon and a bib!

Hope it helps somebody,
