Yes, it's normal, no it's not contagious.cherylWe are on Day 4 of Valtrex and our son has developed a slight fever (100.6). We gave some motrin and he was feeling better within an hour. After his nap, the fever came back. Is this typical? And is this type of fever (if it's Valtrex related) contagious? Thank you.
