Guest guest
yes, pinworms; sorry, I realize that isn't addressing the SIB of rectal digging; it is just what first came to mind. That was a horrible time (actually it was more than once) The first time the twins got them immediately after beginning their first daycare at age 2 1/2. They had been at home with me and never in anyone else's care before. I could not imagine why they were " scooting " on the floor and scratching all the time; I had never heard of pinworms. I freaked because I had by then become pretty obsessed with cleanliness. I had to learn " universal precautions " before bringing the twins home as one had congenital heart disease and I was so afraid of him (or either of them) getting sick. Anyway, the doctor told me it was very common. I didn't believe her until they started school and one of them got them again and the school nurse explained how common it was. Don't ask me what planet I had been living on that I was so unaware, but my mother had never heard of them either. Anyway, are you getting any helpful suggestions? Is he improving? ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Mobile.
