I'm idiopathic too. I've had EN for 37 yrs. [Yikkes! longer than

you've been alive :-/ ]but I am in a nice remission now. Hopefully we

will help you to find your trigger. We all know what you are going

5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have

EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group.

I have the lovely red, swollen, fevered bumps on my legs. Thankfully,

only from the upper knee down this time.

This is my third " severe " breakout, meaning 20 or more bumps, and a

great deal of pain when walking, extreme swelling, etc.

I have frequently gotten 1-4 bumps of varying degree, sporadically.

6. List any other health conditions. None

7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their

effectiveness:

On the last severe breakout, I was prescribed Potassium Iodide, or

SSKI. This was the only thing to ever help, but at $75 per bottle, not

something I use regularly.

9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG? 13 years
