Guest guest Posted May 28, 2004 Report Share Posted May 28, 2004 My question is this ....How did DSer's > get the rep for stinking when the RNY's have just as much trouble?.. ---------------------------- Mel...I have NEVER spoken to a RNYer who if you mentioned bathroom issues they didn't jump right in with their Gas, stink and potty problems....how did we get the rep of having problems in that area...the only thing I can figure out is....it's our only disadvantage so it's what we talk about. Mel, the gas is from the Roux-en-Y portion of the surgery which both DS and RGB patients have in order to malabsorb calories, so naturally both sets of patients will have bad gas.
