When you go to see your doctor, take a list of the meds and symptoms you have.

Write down the time & the problem.

My doctor doesn't like to spend a lot of time trying to figure things out on his

own. It makes it easier on the doctor & faster if you have it all written down.

Try to be as brief in your description of your problem. That is why it helps to

write it down. Number it if you have to. Keep the descriptions short.

I have trouble with thinking when trying to talk, so it is easier to write most

of the stuff down before you go.

I need to get some home help, & need his prescription to do it, and an increase

in my pain meds, from 2 a day to 3.

So when I see him I will have it written down & he then can just read it.

Last thing, I have trouble with women Drs. always. I try to get a man Dr. for

everything. They tend to be more agreeable with me and what I need. He gives me

Armour & the pain meds that I have had trouble getting if it was a woman.

If you have trouble with a woman Dr. then try to find a man.

I go to one in San Tx. who take medicaid. To pay it would be $65.

I was the one that ask him if I could try Armour and needed pain meds for the

arthritis & Fibromyalgia. He is great with the prescriptions.

Beside the med you take when writing, tell why you are taking it. The Dr.

doesn't remember always why you are taking a pain med especially.

I have been taking it for 3 yrs. with him & he still has to ask.

Most meds they know what it's for. Sometimes they use a med for more than one

ailment. It is good to write it all down.

Hope this helps others. I take about 7 different pills a day.
