New Terms I've Never Heard Of

I have a friend who also has Hepatitis C and she started going to a new doctor

recently. She has Genotype 1a, which is the same as me and many others, but

they said she is also a CT. Does anyone know what that means?

She is going to start a trial in May with a 4 drug treatment, which includes

interferon. She didn't say what the name of it was. Do any of you know about

that? She wanted to do a treatment that didn't have interferon in it because

she did treatment two times with interferon and was a non responder both times.

She doesn't think that any treatment with interferon is going to help her.
