Dear Liz,

On behalf of all our members, welcome to our Erythema Nodosum Group!

Thanks for sending in your Questionnaire. I have added the information

to our " Member Medical History " Files on the Group site and posted it

below.

You now have Full EN Group privileges.

You are set to receive Daily Digest EN Group emails, and you can also

go to the EN Group site whenever you like:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/erythema_nodosum_Group/

and logging on with your Yahoo ID and secret password.

You do not have to have the group emails delivered to be a member here.

Nine months is a long time for a bout of EN, and it does sound like it

may be chronic. However, if you find your " trigger " you may be able to

cure it for good. Since you describe few lumps, I wonder if you have

erythema nodosum Migrans. That is the type of EN I seem to have. It is

chronic, but milder than usual EN.

Welcome to the Group!

Love,

******

5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have

EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group.

Have had EN for approximately 9 months, but was just diagnosed

recently. I first had a very large bump, so big (at least 10 cm in

diameter) it did not look like typical EN so I was not fully diagnosed

with it the first time. That bump " faded " after approximately 1-2

months, although my skin is still somewhat discolored where it was. My

second bump is approximately 3-4 months old and of a more typical

size. Both bumps have been on my shins.

6. List any other health conditions.

None.

7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their

effectiveness:

I am not sure what I was given the first time, I think some sort of

allergy medicine, and possibly some antibiotics or steroids?

8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG?

Nine months ago (March 2005)
