Yes.

He does not take any insurance, but the labs can bill your insurance company.

Bruce,

I'm so glad that you found Dr. . I added her to the list a while back. She

is so easy to talk to and always willing to listen.

Currently she has given me a diagnosis of " unspecified thyroiditis " . Not sure

what holds her back from calling it Hashi's, but I trust her.

I am interested in what you discussed with her regarding compounded meds, and

excited to hear that she suggested this to you. I recently started taking a

small dose of cytomel (gen) and am having difficulty adjusting to it. I was

hoping to discuss the posiblity of a compounded slow release version at my next

apt. in Nov.

What type of attacks do you have after you take your medication?

Anyway, stick with her. She genuinely cares and will work with you. She also

told me at my last apt. that she will work with me to get me to where I feel the

best. That is so important. Good luck!

I love my name too ;)

I have had a positive TPO test (250) and also have anti-thyroglobulin (70). I've

talked to Dr. about it and she says that commonly, in Hashimoto's there

is only anti-TPO. She will test my antibodies again in Nov.

I have read that anti-TPO is present in 95% of Hashi's patients, but that

anti-thyroglobulin is also present in 50-70%. I will discuss this with Dr.

further next month. The Endo that I saw said it's Hashi's, but I didn't

really agree with anything else she had to say ;P.

I've never had any reaction as severe as what you are having. I hope you will

find a solution soon. I've always tolerated my synthroid well, but am having

difficulty adjusting to cytomel. At the same time, I don't want to give up on it

just yet as I seem to be having some results. I have gained weight every month

this year (1-4 lbs per month), but have not gained any since beginning cytomel 2

months ago ago.

Good luck to you.

What do you mean by "non-plussed"?
