Guest guest
There is liquid. It is also very bitter but at least there's no texture. It may be easier to hide. You may want to try a sweet/tart combo like honey or agave w/lemon. -----Original Message-----From: mb12 valtrex [mailto:mb12 valtrex ]On Behalf Of kcbooneSent: Monday, June 30, 2008 9:33 PMTo: mb12 valtrex Subject: OLE...anyone using, please help Hello All, My daughter, 6 yrs. old, will take just about any supplement however, I tasted the OLE and it was HORRIBLE. Because she doesn't swallow capsules yet, I have to open then and put the contents on a spoon, usually with a little bit of cracker. She's fine with that. Takes it and chases it with juice or tea. But I KNOW she'd bulk at the taste of the OLE. She has only disliked 2 other supps. to the point of refusing to take them. Then what resulted was difficulty in getting the other supps. in her because she always thought I was sneaking one of the horrible tasting ones in. So, I want to avoid this at all costs. How do you all get the OLE in your child? Is any brand less bitter than others? Is there a liquid? Karmen
Guest guest
OLE does come in liquid drops. It's bitter but you can get it down in some orange juice if she'll drink that for you. use a medicine dropper and give her a chaser of something tasty that she prefers to drink. Guest guest
We use liquid from vitamin shoppe without alchohol. Its a bit goopie but have no problem with it. I put it in juice.. orange or blueberry and shake. I started by giving a tiny bit and then 10 minutes later a bit more. That way it wasnt all of a sudden a big change of taste. Have had no problem upping the dose slowly. 38 and Mom to threeTasha 23..new Mommy ( means I am a Grammy )Casey-Mae 13..sweet as pieElijah 2.. Guest guest
My kids love all the hirbs by Nutritional resources. OLE tastes great also. I think you only can buy iit from them, I also add Stevia to the other stuff, it helps a lot. Natalia
