Have you had a cat scan or MRI to rule out more severe forms of

panniculitis? Sometimes they present with stomach pains. Also, Crohn's

Disease is a disorder that may cause EN, so that too should be ruled

Woods Case History

5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if

you do not have EN or PG, please explain why you wish

to join this group. I have developed a very painfull " rash " along

with fever, and joint/bone pain...The 'rash " when I get it on my lower

legs, looks just like the picture I saw on your website of EN.

6. List any other health conditions.Other than severe stomach problems

for the past 15yr, I have been very healthy

7. State what medications or treatments you take for

EN, and their effectiveness: The only thing I have taken to date that

has kept the 'rash' and joint pain under control is prednisone; which

comes with its' own terible side effects, not to mention it is very

hard on my stomach.

8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG?I have been diagnosed

with panniculitis through a punch biopsy in Aug 2005...A deep biopsy

from my back showed " PREDOMINATELY NEUTROPHILIC DERMATITIS WITH

EOSINOPHILS. "

9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG?
