Just wondering, Is anyone allergic to Levothryoxine?  I was on Armour 90, but since not being able to find it in Houston, my doc switched me to Synthroid.  I can't tolerate " synthetic " drugs, but with no  Armour anywhere......The pharmacist gave me generic...Levothryoxine.  It seems like I might be allergic to it.

I don't think I have a true allergy to the levo.  I did use levoxyl 50's, which have no dyes in them.  They gave me big, big headaches.Susie

Some folks just really need some T3 and react badly to T4 only. Some folks also do not do well on synthetics.

Armour and Naturethroid are back on the shelves. You will just have to call around and see who has some. Generally, only the 30 and 60 mg doses are available.
