Guest guest
I went to the doc 3 weeks ago for a 2nd opinion regarding possible thyca recurrence. I am anxiously awaiting blood results. The doc is out this week on an emergency leave. The results are in and I have left a message with the nurse (the receptionist said the nurse would be there today); of course they have not returned my call. I hope I don't have to wait until next week. Anyway, the doc put me on cytomel to go along with my usual Unithroid. I was really, really hoping this would boost my energy level. Wrong!!! I would really like my energy levels to improve. I am sure the anticipation stress and living in the east Texas piney woods (allergy season) are contributing to the lack of energy. But I have not had a lot of energy since my thyroid was removed in '05. Any thoughts on the cytomel? It is generic; I don't know if that makes a difference.
