Pakkala's Case History

5. Describe your erythema nodosum/PG symptoms or, if you do not have

EN or PG, please explain why you wish to join this group.

I started with red hot lumps on my left leg, then on the right leg.

I proceeded to develop the same type of lumps on both of my forearms

with them

very visible, very hot and very sore.

I have joint pain.

The lumps would develop on the left side then on the right each time I

formed a new lump.

6. List any other health conditions.

IBS, HTN, multiple medication, food and environmental allergies, GERD,

Hiatal hernia.

7. State what medications or treatments you take for EN, and their

effectiveness: The only treatment I had was to stop taking the

medication that was thought to bring it on, HCTZ, hydrachlorathiazide.

This was an allergy to the sulfa in the HCTZ.

8. When did you first get erythema nodosum or PG? Spring/Summer of 2005

9. How long have you had erythema nodosum or PG? since that time.

10. Do you agree to treat all EN members with respect? I certainly do.
