Guest guest
Dear Lorri Anne, I always take plenty of magnesium. My blood presure is usually low, but if I get upset it can go up. Do you have a home blood pressure monitor? That can help you in a " biofeedback " sort of way to learn how to lower your blood pressure. Remember to relax when you take your pressure. Uncross legs and close eyes. The fingers should be slightly curved, not clenched. Take a few deep breaths before you start, and sit for a few minutes without talking while the test is being run. Think of something relaxing as the test is run. Above all, DON'T WORRY. Blood pressure can quickly drop even if the first reading is high. And there are about 100 different blood pressure meds so not to worry if you do need to take one. My Dad takes meds for his HBP. He didn't know he had it until he was 80. He never went to the dr's until then.:-/ Now he's 95 :-) Love,
