Guest guest
Ivory, A similar thing happened to me--(not to equate a child w/a dog!)--but my dog had a health issue, and I contacted nada bks I knew she would be interested, and thought it was a 'safe' topic, through which I could communicate and trick her into believing I had not 'abandoned' her. In the time afterwards I got barraged with almost daily, creepy emails. I ignored most of them and now it has stopped. Give them a tiny entry and they try to manipulate it into getting control over you. Ch > > Well Nada has been at bay for, four months, I guess. I only talk to > her once a week, sometimes less. Guest guest
I am sorry that Nada is overstepping her boundaries. It is sad that she just can't enjoy the moment and not try to enmesh herself again. After all, you were just sharing something nice, not inviting her to dinner! But, congrats on baby increasing his vocabulary. I love that stage of rapid expansion! Di. I let my two year old call her (not on the > usual Tuesday contact day) because he learned to say her name. Guest guest
You bet. They really personify that " give them an inch " cliche. Guest guest
LOL! Boy that's a new twist on an old saying! Thanks Ivory > > > > > > Well Nada has been at bay for, four months, I guess. Guest guest
Thanks, it is cute when they start repeating everything. He has three grandmothers with very similar names...so naturally once he learned to say MIL's name, who lives down the street and sees him daily, I thought he'd be able to pull off Nada's. But, when he called her, she thought I had spent all day only teaching him HER NAME. Weirdo. I think that was the undenyable demonstration of love that has baited her undivided attention.
