Guest guest
Hi Jo! I promise, I don't carb up my protein drinks! In fact, I add low- carb ice cream to them which does make them very filling. They actually stick with me for a couple hours. Problem is, I can't think of enough high-protein snacks/meals for as many times a day as I eat. And since I don't like meat, eating steak, chicken, pork or any other meat is useless for me. However, I do like Veat Gourmet Bites which are fake chicken and I'm going to try to make something with them this weekend. I do have a 6 oz cup of yogurt every weekday afternoon which holds me pretty well until I get home. Maybe I should eat more yogurt. Hmmm. Hugs! Mom said she couldn't let me see a pork chop or I'd cry the whole time she was cooking it crying " bone, bone, booooone " Darn it now I want a Chop. Guest guest
Thanks Jo! I'm tryin'! I've got a jar of peanut butter at work which seems to be holding me over in the afternoons. I'm going to boil some eggs tomorrow and make some egg salad for sandwiches. And don't get on me about my low carb bread! You guys don't pick on Marta for her ezekial stuff, do you? Sheesh! Seriously, I'm just hoping that some miracle will happen and I'll lose what I've gained. At this point, I'll be happy if I can do just that much. I'll be seeing my doctor in June so I'll get weighed in at that time and will know for sure how I'm doing. I'll keep you posted! Hugs!
