Guest guest
I have been working with the Department of Vocational Rehab developing a plan for job training leading to work that will not hurt my asthma nor will my asthma be a major hindrance. We'd looked at furthering my human resources expertise. The DVR physician did a final review of my file before the plan was to be submitted and turned me down. S/He feels that the progressioon of my disease will not allow me to wonder around an office building/factory talking to folks without getting short of breath. It has been suggested that I look for work that is sedantary. Golly do I hate that word. ly, I am having a problem thinking of a job that is nearly 100% sitting, that pays enough to live on and would be even somewhat stimulating. I would love to hear what work others are doing or can think of that would not hurt an asthmatic or the disease would not hinder. Thanks in advance.
