Hmm, here is something to watch. 22 inches appears to be a once in a

decade phenomena. Let's see what their snowfall looks like over the

next decade. Could be an indicator of global climate change.

(Evidence suggests, BTW that many thousands of years ago, Persia and

other areas of the Middle East, and some areas of Africa were more lush

than they are now due to increased precipitation year round.)
