Guest guest Posted April 19, 2004 Report Share Posted April 19, 2004 When I got sick with a sinus infection, and the doctor put me on Z Pack, I immediately started a rumbly in the tumbly. Called Dr. K who called my PCP and had my script changed immediately to Amoxicillian. Said the Z Pack would not work my WLS due to the malabsorption. He called me back the next day, (*Dr. K*) to let me know what was said and that I should be looking for a new script and *never* take Z Pack, it wouldn't work. HTH YMMV Melisa S.
