Hi,

Many free standing Children’s

Hosptials are Medicare Certified for kidney transplant. Please double

check. Find out from the hospital if it is Medicare Certified for kidney

transplant. If they are not, and they do a transplant, they may have

legal issues.

Thanks,

Bill

That's what I assumed, but wanted to make

,

No. In order for Medicare to cover

her immunos, the hospital has to be an approved Medicare transplant facility.

Medicare Part B ?

I would appreciate any assistance:

Due to an extremely unique situation, we have a young girl that will

be getting a renal transplant at the local children's hospital which

is not a " Medicare " center. Will Medicare Part B still cover her

Immuno's after the transplant?

Thanks:

McCardell
