Guest guest
Hi All, I'm off to bed in just a minute (I got back from Delano about 20 minutes ago). When Dr. K saw my incisions, he said the surgery would actually be a set back, at this point (although he did offer to take off the " spare tire " I have since I have lost more weight -- in other words, I need another tummy tuck). I told him no to the surgery, even though removing the tire would have been nice. I think I am just going to be satisfied with finishing healing these wounds. Dr. K estimates another two weeks. My 18 month labs were okay, calcium, Vit D and PTH all a little out of whack. I will be taking calcitrol for the Vit D and doing repeat labs in 3 months. I'll try to catch up with everyone tomorrow. I drove 985 miles today, and I have been up for 24 hours (something I don't do as well as I did when I was younger). Hugs and blessings from a very happy, Ann

Guest guest
Wow Ann the idea of surgery must have scared your body in to healing. I had a similar experience after my panniculectomy. The Surgeon up here I went to said 2 weeks to heal up or we would go in and clean it up and sew it back up. Scared it in to healing a bit faster. I am so happy for both of us! Keep on resting it will get there. Your friend, in WA
