I have this problem if I inadvertently leave off taking my calcium for a couple

of days... it also seems related to having enough magnesium... which seems to

make my body use the calcium better?

cramping problem

A friend here who had the DS with Dr. K has developed a cramping

problem in her feet and lower legs. She feels it is not a potassium

problem or dehydration. Has anyone else had this problem, or know

what it might be if it is not those two things?

Thanks, Judy E in Eureka

The calcium I take also has magnesium in it, from Costco. My cramps

are usually from low fluid volume, however.

Hi Judy, I was having problems with foot cramping and my PCP

suggested extra magnesium. I started taking it a few weeks ago and

have only had one foot cramp since that time.
