My BMI is below 40 now...1st time ever. So even though I know the stats, some days I feel worse and bloated, so maybe that will get better over time. Hi all, I have been swamped the last few days, but getting caught up tonight. I am not where " I want to be yet " but I am pretty proud of what I have accomplished so far. I am 9 months post-op and down 125 pounds and I have posted the first new pic (on the ds extra site) in shorts and tank top since last summer. Quite a change - I tell you....I can FINALLY say * I SEE THE DIFFERENCE*....so I guess my eyes are catching up with the weight loss. According to Met Life chartings I should still lose another 60 pounds to be a normal weight for my height and frame. Will I make it ? I do not know, BUT I can tell you I will continue to eat 95% of my foods as protein with limiting greatly my carbs and sugar and see where I land. I pray I hit goal, my health needs it. But I choose to focus on the great progress I have made in 9 months and wanted to share my new pic. Blessings on your night. Guest guest
, I just went to have a look at the pictures and I only got as far as yours. I just want to say ...HOLY COW, WOW, UNBELIEVABLE. Where did you start and how far did you get in the first year? I am starting at 325, I hope and pray that I can get down to at least 150 - 170. I think its all a gift from God so if I make it that far or end up any place short of that its His gift to me. Anything beyond that well lets just call that Gods little stocking stuffers. At any rate, you look so good and healthy. I don't know you but I'm proud of you. Cheri

Keep in mind now, I'm a revision and was only expected to lose 100 or so pounds because of the Weight loss surgery history. Now I'm at 135 down, with window left and a pannie impending....So I really like your analogy of " God's Little Stocking stuffers " ....LOL. Dr K used the term anything beyond that was Gravy.....And you know we southern girls love our gravy!! in Bama VBG 1982 (lost from 433lbs to 270's) VBG -RNY1996 revision(Lost from 343 to 299) RNY-DS revision Dec 2002 -down 135 lbs (377.7 to 242.2 and still going) Homepage address- http://hometown.aol.com/mdl1031/myhomepage/profile.html Many thanks to Dr. K willing to take on a 3rd timer....LOL
