Took him off his concerta but it only made a 10 point difference in his BP of 160/101 and he failed that semester in school. Made him lose weight -- again 10 point difference. Controlling on .1 clonidine in morning and .2 at night. He was the guy who was quoted, "Rome is burning, while Nero was fiddling, trying to get reelected." I think in the NY Times, during the time of the impending Medicare cut. Gerry is as good as they come; he was my mentor in choosing family medicine as a career. "You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
