Now these blood tests are planned: TSH, free T3 & 4(these are re-tests of those

done around Labor Day) + AM & PM cortisol (not tested for about 30 yrs). Do

these sound right - how often should thyroid tests be re-checked? Especially

wondering about the cortisol tests since I mostly see talk of the saliva

cortisol tests -- what is the difference between those tests & which are better?

Do most drs now re-test & bring you back in for another ofc visit every time

they re-check? That sounds like a lot of ofc visits -- I was used to being

re-checked at the time of my annual physical & then my dr adjusting my dose (if

needed) without making me come back in/paying for another visit. I was only

brought back in for a re-check if my dose needs were fluctuating a lot.
